Media Sales Executive

Job Summary

Mid-Atlantic Media (MAM), a growing media company based in Columbia, Maryland, has an opening for a media sales executive to join our team of revenue "sales hunters." This is a tremendous opportunity for a talented sales professional to walk in on day one with a significant, solid legacy book of business and high commission on new business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Major focus on acquiring new advertising customers for print and digital platforms. Secondarily, the media sales executive will be expected to manage an active, legacy book of advertising customers to reach established monthly goals. The media sales executive will also have the opportunity to sell across all of MAM's publishing titles, including Baltimore Jewish Times, Baltimore’s Child, Baltimore Style, Consumer’s Eye Magazine, Frederick’s Child, Home Services Magazine, Philadelphia Jewish Exponent, Delaware Valley’s MetroKids Magazine, Montgomery Magazine, Washington Family and Washington Jewish Week. The media sales executive will also have the opportunity to sell a customized digital suite of non-publication related products. This is a chance to be the “one-stop shop” for any and all advertising prospects!

Qualifications and Skills

Motivated to make money, competitive, excellent communication, high energy, works well under pressure, multi-tasking, technical competencies including typing and familiar with outlook, excel and CRM's. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in sales. Understanding of digital media. Familiar with building customer relationships and cross selling techniques.

Base: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 first year plus high new business commission
