Advertising Sales – Washington metro area (DMV)
Mid-Atlantic Media (MAM), publisher of Washington Family, Washington Jewish Week and Consumer's Eye, Frederick's Child, Montgomery Magazine and others, has an opening for a new business development advertising sales professional to join our team of revenue hunters. A tremendous opportunity for a seasoned advertising sales professional to walk in on day one with a solid legacy book of business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Primary objective is to acquire new advertising customers for our publication's print and digital platforms. Secondarily, the advertising sales professional will be expected to manage an active book of advertising customers to reach established monthly budgets. The advertising sales professional will also have the opportunity to cross sell into MAM's other publishing titles, including Baltimore Jewish Times, Baltimore’s Child, Baltimore Style, and Home Services Magazine.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications required include:
Motivated to make money
Works well under pressure
Technical competencies including typing and familiar with outlook, excel and CRM's
Minimum two (2) years experience in advertising sales
Strong understanding of digital media
Familiar with building customer relationships and cross selling techniques

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
