Friends School of Baltimore
With the retirement of its longtime designer, Friends School turned to Mid-Atlantic Custom Media for a fresh look for Collection, a biannual publication for students, alumni and supporters. We streamlined the publication to reflect the school’s mission of truth, simplicity, diversity and community while upholding its high standards of excellence and creativity. The collaboration resulted in Mid-Atlantic becoming the vendor of choice for the school’s graphic needs. Current projects range from advertising design, logo development and print collateral.
Garrison Forest School
Garrison Forest School chose Mid-Atlantic Custom Media to rebrand its biannual alumnae mailings into an annual publication that would rival alumni magazines at top-tier universities. Our creative team collaborated with Garrison Forest to create a publication that now showcases the school with news-filled sections and stirring features. New paper stock and a fresh design rounded out the changes. Mid-Atlantic’s in-house staff of seasoned designers, photographers and editors helps ensure the highest quality for Garrison Forest.
Greater Baltimore Medical Center
Greater Baltimore Medical Center turned to Mid-Atlantic Custom Media in 2010 to rebrand Greater Living, its seasonal consumer publication that features health information, GBMC patient-success stories and is geared to women ages 35 to 55. The Maryland Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development recognized Greater Living with its prestigious Award of Excellence at the 2011 Alfred Knight Awards ceremony, which recognizes outstanding work in healthcare marketing and public relations. Mid-Atlantic also designs the GBMC Foundation’s annual report.
Sheppard Pratt Health System
Internationally renowned Sheppard Pratt turned to the publication experts at Mid-Atlantic Custom Media for help with launching a quarterly magazine to educate the public on importance mental health topics. From story development to design, printing and circulation fulfillment our experts were there to ensure the publication reflected the quality of care the health system provides. Heal magazine won silver in the national 2015 Aster Awards for outstanding magazine design.
Jewish Exponent of Philadelphia
Starting in June 2015, Mid-Atlantic Custom Media will provide the very best in journalism and design services for The Jewish Exponent, the second-oldest Jewish newspaper in the United States.

Hillel College Guide
In 2015, Hillel International partnered with Mid-Atlantic Custom Media to re-launch its popular college magazine. Our editorial and design teams refocused the publication to reflect the core message of Hillel — to enrich the lives of Jewish students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Mid-Atlantic also handled all aspects of the publication’s sales and distribution.
The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore
The Associated asked Mid-Atlantic Custom Media to collaborate on a series of targeted publications to address the needs of specific segments of Jewish Baltimore. Our talented team of project managers, designers, photographers, sales and circulation experts produced three new magazines — Jewish Boomer, Jewish Abilities and Connect to Israel — to target broad swaths of this vibrant community.
BOSS magazine is published three times a year for Dixon Valve & Coupling. From the magazine’s launch, the strategy has been to create a sophisticated but reader-friendly general interest publication with a focus on industry. Readers range from corporate CEOs to facility managers, and it is critical to capture both audiences on an international level. Understanding Dixon’s customers and working with the editorial board is essential in shaping a magazine that is creative and informative.
Marinalife, a concierge service for boaters, came to Mid-Atlantic Custom Media with a simple goal: to upgrade its magazine. Published as a quarterly value-added feature of the Marinalife membership, the magazine was redesigned with a fresh, contemporary look that now features the publication’s beautiful photos of picturesque marinas and destinations as well as timely, fact-filled features on where to go and how to get there.
